Bamboo is light in color, so an engraving shows strong contrast. Rosewood and walnut are darker and give a subtler, more premium mark. Wood grain varies from piece to piece, which is part of the appeal: no two drives look exactly alike.
Engraving tips
Engraving works best with solid shapes and lines; very thin strokes and tiny text can blur in the grain. We check this on the free digital proof. The bamboo keyring drive is screen printed instead.
